Teams developed projects in user interface design and information structures for using mobile devices to explore a physical location, the Serralves Foundation in Porto. The workshop was held October 7-9 at Serralves as part of the Future Places festival.

Online exhibition catalog available.

Marking the closing of the exhibition, the Future Places 2008 exhibition catalog is now online. It is a wiki, meaning applicants are themselves responsible for the content of their own pages. We are still awaiting a few contributions, and the jury will insert comments soon. So check often.

Footage from festival attendants

Yesterday´s closing party at Casa da Música went well into the early hours. The Impromptu All-Stars Orchestra played for 3 hours and welcomed many in the audience into its ranks! Recordings will surface, no doubt.
