Diana Antunes, a student at the University of Coimbra, was honored earlier this month as an Adobe Design Achievement Awards finalist. The Adobe Design Achievement Awards is a competition of over 2700 students from 33 countries. Antunes created muxicall, a Flash-based site facilitating collaborative musical composition, which was noted in the Browser-based Design Category. Muxicall, a project designed when Antunes was studying at the University of Aveiro, allows players from around to world to interact online, producing works using sounds representing piano, drums, and strings.
